When choosing a segmented LCD screen, in addition to choosing the plane size, sometimes you also need to consider the thickness of the LCD screen, especially when the installation space is relatively small. So what standard thickness LCD screen can we choose?
The thickness of the segmented LCD screen is mainly composed of three parts: ITO glass, polarizer, and protective film.
1. There are three conventional thicknesses of ITO glass: 0.55mm, 0.7mm, and 1.1mm.
2. Polarizer thickness generally: 0.2mm
3. The thickness of the protective film is generally: 0.1mm
Then the calculation formula for the thickness of our segment LCD screen is:
1. 0.55*2+0.2*2+0.1*2=1.7mm, this thickness is basically the thinnest segment LCD screen
2. 0.7*2+0.2*2+0.1*2=2.0mm. This thickness is considered a relatively conventional thickness and is used by many manufacturers.
3. 1.1*2+0.2*2+0.1*2=2.8 mm. The thickness of 2.8mm is currently used more frequently, and the cost is very low. Generally, products that do not have thickness requirements basically use this.
The above are some general parameters summarized by SONYTEK.
