1. The external leads of the LCD display screen module must not be connected incorrectly. Otherwise, overcurrent and overvoltage may damage the LCD module components.
2. When the LCD display module is used within the specified operating temperature range, the display response is slow. When the LCD display module is used above the specified operating temperature range, the entire display surface will be displayed in full display state. This phenomenon is not module damage, but as soon as the LCD display module returns to the specified temperature range, everything will return to normal. If the temperature is lower than the crystallization temperature, the liquid crystal will crystallize, destroying the orientation layer and make the device scrap; if the temperature is too high, the liquid crystal will become isotropic liquid, losing the liquid crystal state and the function of the liquid crystal device.
3. When the LCD liquid crystal module access and disconnect the power supply, must be stabilized before the input signal level access to the positive power supply (5 + 0.25V), if the power supply is stabilized before or after the input signal level, may damage the IC circuit in the module.
4. Dot matrix LCD liquid crystal display module contrast and viewing angle is closely related to the temperature and drive voltage. Therefore, if the VEE is adjusted too high, it will not only affect the display, but also shorten the life of the module.
5. When the LCD display screen with water droplets, please quickly wipe: prolonged exposure to water droplets will make the screen discoloration or spots.
6. Do not touch the IC on the PCB board on the back of the LCD liquid crystal module to prevent a short circuit between adjacent pins.
7. Pressing the LCD display part too hard may cause abnormal display. At this time, cut off the power, wait for a while, and then power on again, it will return to normal.
8. When there are stains on the LCD screen, wipe it quickly with absorbent cotton or other soft cloth.
