Each manufacturer in the LCD screen factory before they will be aging test, in order to exclude check out the screen's shortcomings. In order to subtract the quality of unqualified screen inflow time, resulting in consumer losses.

Then the aging test is divided into a total of two steps:   high temperature and voltage.

 

1. High Temperature

Whether it is high temperature or voltage test screen, are required at higher temperatures, and the need to adjust the drive voltage of the panel to the appropriate value.

High-temperature aging is divided into three stages: early failure period, accidental failure period and depletion failure period, which are collectively referred to as the failure curve principle. Using this principle, it is possible to accelerate the deterioration of LCDs to their own deficiencies and then eliminate them.

Among these three stages, the early failure period is particularly important because at this stage, most of the LCD's deficiencies are exposed. It may be the problem of design, production materials or production process defects, etc. then enter the accidental failure period, followed by the wear and tear failure period.

This process is usually carried out at -20 degrees Celsius-79 degrees Celsius for 8-24 hours, then it is taken out and needs to be checked manually afterwards.

 

2. Voltage

The voltage aging test is to detect the high or low voltage that the LCD can accept, so as to view the stability of the panel and obtain the appropriate voltage value for the panel.

This process is carried out through the oscilloscope to observe the voltage waveform. When encountering the panel screen constantly flickering, there are two situations.

One is the voltage of the positive and negative voltage size is inconsistent, the second is the aftermath of high temperature aging, the original voltage design value and the pixel voltage deviation.

This needs to be solved by adjusting the voltage value, when the voltage value is the right value, the screen naturally stop flickering.
