The process of customizing a segment display:

Initial Communication: After preliminary communication between the sales engineer and the customer regarding materials and display patterns, the sales engineer will provide an estimate for the quotation based on existing parameters.

Sampling Stage: Based on the estimated price, the customer sends samples to the manufacturer of the segment display. The manufacturer determines some other values of the LCD screen based on the full display mode and voltage of the LCD screen. A detailed quotation is provided, including the price of a single LCD screen, backlight price (reflective LCD screens do not require backlight), and mold opening fees. If the customer requires a complete set with a control panel, development fees will also be included in the quotation.

Specification and Drawing Design: After the price is confirmed, the design team will create drawings based on the provided information. The design includes display interface design, circuit diagram design, truth table design, and dimensional parameter design. Wiring diagrams and truth tables facilitate customer installation and circuit board design. Once the design is completed, it is confirmed with the customer through a signed agreement.

Mold Opening: Based on the drawings, photomasks are made using a photolithography machine to create custom molds.

Sampling: Using the newly opened molds, LCD screens and backlight samples are produced. As mentioned earlier, the manufacturing process of the segment LCD screen will be sent to the customer for sampling after the sampling is completed.

Sample Testing: The customer tests the LCD samples, and if it is a new product, market feedback is investigated after the testing is completed.

Mass Production: Once all the above procedures are completed, when the timing is right, the segment display factory can proceed with mass production and delivery.

3.1 Since we are continuously developing and upgrading our products and service,any technical,non-technical specification,including but not limited to web pages,reports tables,figures,images,videos or audios of any of products of www.sonytek.com may be altered or completely changed in formats and contents without a prior notification either online or offline.

3.2 Prices listed on www.sonytek.com or provided by any representatives of www.sonytek.com are subject to change without a prior notice.
